I am hoping to get a tattoo on the outside of my right calf sometime over the next year. I wont get it until I figure out a design I am happy with and know I will like for the most part, when I am older. This is one of the possible candidate tattoos. I will be posting the others once i get the revamps redrawn and to a point I am half satisfied with. Also, Sorry about the quality of the image itself, it is a picture and not a scan as I would have wished it to be. I have used contrast and brighten to make the lines stand out moreso, for easy viewing.
Please feel free to comment on things you like, dislike, would change, wouldnt change, addons, etc etc.
DESCRIPTION of this design: - Size is apprx. 16 cm high by 16 cm wide (will be scaled smaller if used for a tattoo) - A compass rose is the main design in all my tattoo designs. It is somethign I have liked for almost always and will be encorperated as a symbol of some of my personal beliefs on life (not to be explained) - The three top stars (left) represent my mom, my (biological) father, and my (adoptive) dad. - The three bottom stars (right) represent my half siblings Matt (deseased), Doug, and Tabatha (I). - The map on either background is view of Canada from a "satelite" which was situation over the northern most point of the globe, hence why it looks destorted.
Yet to come: - The blank portion on either "empty" circle part is going to be filled in accrding to my close siblings, Roy and Tabatha (II). A rose, perhaps for Tabby (Tabatha Rose) and a pine sprig for my brother maybe, to represent his outdoorsy personality.
I dont know what exactly will be the finished product, but, those are some ideas.

Thank you, and yeah; I told myself that the only way I would get a tattoo is if I designed it have some personal value to it. It was going to be a generic tattoo.
lol, I dont know, probably Stacey (at Tattoo4u right?) since it is the closest besides Larry and I know she does quality work. I will probably scout some places in TBay though, as the thing will require some good shading, eventually and I want to know I am getting the best of the best... I will get the outline done first of course, then goback later to get the shading done.
Yeah, Stacey is at tattoo4U, as far as I know shes very good at realism/shading...I've seen some of her potrait ones and they were really good. But if ya wanna check em out she has tons of binders of tatts shes done.
I finished my anime girl at 6am! but its soooo nice by far my best drawing yet! mwhahaha

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
